From the beginning it was academic, then in middle age I studied various styles. I dedicated myself to teaching from a very early age and my experience on stage is very extensive. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

1. Exhibition - Aperture: Size of the diaphragm (f/2.8 more light, f/16 less light). - Shutter speed: Time the shutter is open (1/1000 freezes, 1/30 blurs). - ISO: Sensitivity to light (ISO 100 less noise, ISO 3200 more noise). 2. Composition - Rule of thirds: Divide the image into 3x3 and place the subject at the intersections. - Guide lines: They direct the viewer's gaze. - Balance: Harmonious and simple elements. 3. Focus - Adjusts the sharpness on the main subject. 4. Lighting - Use natural or artificial light depending on the desired effect. 5. Equipment - Camera, lens, tripod and basic accessories. 6. All for a very reasonable price? We can do it! Nice to meet you, I'm Daniel. I'm a (private) art teacher, I'm also a freelance artist and have been working as one for about 7 years. I'm looking for students in Utrecht, I have a teaching space available in my apartment (I can share my address when you contact me), but am also able to travel to your desired space within the city. I can also teach via webcam, but I do recommend my in-person classes, seeing as they're more immersive and educational. I unfortunately do not speak Dutch (yet), but am confident we can overcome any potential language barrier we come across. I have the most experience in teaching teenagers and preteens, so I think we would definitely be a good match if you're a parent or guardian looking for a teacher for your child. I am a painter and illustrator who has a lot of fun capturing ideas on paper, I invite you to my classes (completely practical), where you can explore your creativity and sensitivity through plastic expression. We will develop observation and synthesis skills by drawing different elements of our environment. I will also teach you to recognize graphic elements (conceptual and material) through free experimentation, which will increase your visual perception. What about the notions of composition, balance and concept? Come on, I'll teach you!

Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine? Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters? If you have those concerns, I would love to help you. I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels. I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story. I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French. I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.

I teach classes in artistic drawing, painting, sculpture and creative strategies. For all levels. I offer accompaniment so that students are able to learn to look, decipher meanings and create their own pieces of personal expression. I work with both a historical and contemporary approach. With my methodology, students acquire the tools to create their own artistic languages. Plastic, visual and audiovisual aspects are worked on, both analog and digital.

En este curso usaremos técnicas digitales, y teoría aplicada a la ilustración. Narrativa, perspectiva, dibujo, anatomía, estudio del valor, del color, etc. Todos estos conceptos podemos aprender a aplicarlos a ilustración editorial, comic, diseño de personajes, backgrounds, props, etc. Veremos que parte es la que más te interesa y nos centraremos en ella, y si no lo tienes claro, podemos explorar. Intercalando teoría y práctica, sobre todo está segunda, que es la clave para coger destreza y trabajando temas que nos gusten y nos mantengan motivados. Me adapto desde el principio al alumn@ partiendo desde donde esté y enfocandonos a su objetivo.

Con este acompañamiento, adecuamos el nivel de cada alumno/a para aprender al ritmo de cada uno. Las clases son totalmente personalizadas. Realizaremos inicialmente una extructura de aprendizaje adecuada a los intereses de la persona. Los temas que enseño van desde dibujo tradicional figurativo, composiciones, paisajes, naturales o arquitectónicos, figuras humanas, animales, etc. Lo importante es practicar y el proceso de descubrimiento que también se consigue con el dibujo. Mi formación en terapias holísticas, me ha hecho desarrollar un método de enseñanza en el que incluyo de manera consciente el estado emocional, utilizando las técnicas plásticas y holísticas como dinámicas de coaching o meditación, enseño cómo poder utilizar nuestros canales sensitivos para la liberación consciente de emociones, haciendo que el dibujo y la pintura se conviertan en herramientas para la sanación interna, al reconocer estos estados internos.
