I translated medical and legal articles, panels in the Venice Glass Museum and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice. In the last years of my life I traveled the world, visited more than 80 countries and worked remotely. I have been working with Dutch people for three years, through my language school: Lingodrops. I graduated in languages, am certified in international law and am a language coach. Language coaching means that I not only teach you a language, but also how to learn new ones! As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.

During my career as a lawyer, university professor and court clerk, I have acquired extensive experience in the Italian language, both spoken and written.
