Violin and viola are beautiful string instruments that can be challenging but also very fun to learn and you do need a good teacher to help you with that! Besides being a professional viola player, I am also studying teaching and music education, in order to become a better teacher and adequate my approach according to the individual needs of each student. I have lots of experience teaching children and adults in my country and in teaching children here in the Netherlands! I will also give you all the support to find the right instrument for yourself!

Dear students, My name is Giacomo and I hold two Master of Arts in Music Performance, one in Rome and one from the "Zurcher Hochschule der Kunste" in Zurich. During my class lessons you'll learn the wonderful art of playing the violin, an incredible instrument! I have many years of experience with teaching, I do private lessons and I have worked as a teacher for "Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy in Lugano" for several years. As a teacher my goal is to bring out the best version of my students, using their individual strenghts, which are different for each of them. It's a pleasure for me to teach to anybody who wants even just to discover the art of playing the violin. As a pedagogue, after one month experience in a meditation retreat in Thailand, my approach involves not only focusing on the technical development of the instrument but also paying close attention to the physical and mental well-being of my students. I incorporate meditation and yoga as key elements to ensure a pleasant and optimal experience with the instrument and with oneself.

Hi! I'm Patricia, a passionate violinist originally from Spain. I have a strong background and experience to give the perfect mix of knowledge and excitement to my teaching. I've taught in both schools and music academies, working with students of all ages. Whether it's kids or adults, I aim to make learning enjoyable and supportive. I also love all kinds of music! Although my studies are mainly classical, I can teach any style depending on the student's needs and preferences. I currently dedicate myself to perform concerts with my string quartet. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

Viola and violin lessons suited for all ages and levels! I am originally form Argentina, and a recent graduate form the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (with a Masters degree in music performance -viola). I have lived in many different countries and played with a variety of ensembles, I am sure together we will find the best way to learn and practice these beatiful instruments in the best possible way (: Classes can be offered in English, Portuguese, or Spanish (French coming soon!) For the younger ones, lessons will be oriented towards the Suzuki method (until ages 12/13)
