Composition lessons are for anyone who wishes to compose music, for any instrument, emsemble and/or electronics music.

My teaching method combines various approaches and styles, supporting practice with theoretical knowledge, and most important developing creativity and helping the student in making their imagionary visions come real.

For each student a different palate of tools is offered, according to the student's musical wishes and ambitions.

I teach the basis of western-music composition - theory, harmony, counterpoint, score-reading, solfege, rhythm, analysis and more.
Further I suggest broad overview of world, jazz, pop, new/contemporary music, various styles in electronic music (popular and experimental), improvisatory compositions, graphic notation, text and game pieces, music for theater, film and dance and interdicsiplinary works which combine music with other art fields.

I play viola, compose acoustic and electronic music (often involving theater and film), draw faces and make large-scale collages out of them, dance, research and experiment with movement & music, make performance-art, sing, improvise, make videos, write about my dreams, write poetry, perform as a soloist and with ensembles, initiate and take part in many musical and cross-art collaborations (see my ensembles Zvov, Trioduo, Ghom, MavaRoz).
I like performing (almost) in any genre of music as long as I feel connected to the music. I play classical, contemporary, electronic, folk and pop music, improvise in various styles and like a lot to expand the medium by using as well theater / dance / visuals and text.
I've graduated BA in Viola from The Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance and BA and MA in Composition at The Royal Conservatory including an Erasmus semester at MIAM, ITU, Istanbul.

Violin & Viola lessons are for anyone who wishes to start playing, continue or rusume studying, for both children and adults.
I combine various practices which I believe create a greater whole. I teach basic to advance techniques in reprtoire which corresponds with the student's personality and ranges from classical to contemporary, improvisation, world, folk, pop, rock and more.
I combine repertoire with improvisation, composition, movement and other an interdicsiplinary manner.
My method is personal and about listening to the student wishes and ideas. If you're intrigued, I'd be happy to play, teach and exchange ideas with you!

Do you want to learn some cuban grooves? or maybe latin jazz?

Apart from teaching the most amazing latin rhythms, In my lessons I apply the stick control book, to achieve a good technique, and at the same time I teach coordination and grooves, with the best methods and books from the most qualified drummers.

I'm a professional drummer from Spain, but living in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I have studied Latin drums at Codarts, university of the arts, in Rotterdam, so I've acquired a lot of knowledge and skills on Cuban and Brazilian music, jazz, funk and Pop.

More than 25 years of experience as a professional musician and more than 20 as a teacher and pedagogue have taught me that, alongside a technical and knowledgeable musical upbringing, my teaching can instil in the student a wide sense of musical appreciation. It is my firm belief that music connects to many other areas of learning and may even catalyse the overall pedagogical development of children.
Furthermore, my training as a classical composer/arranger and a performer of classical, jazz and world music allows me to create diverse pedagogical scenarios, which fit not just the aspirations of individual students, but also helps me to work with students collectively in ensembles and other kinds of interactive projects. In class we will work mostly around what the student is looking for, weather that’s just being able to jam along to their favorite tunes or to get good enough to make a living out of drumming. We can work on a variety of different genres from jazz to pop to latin, which ever the student is keen on learning about. Groovy basslines & Broad styles. Your musical taste takes center stage! We work purposefully on technique, timing, and creativity. Together, we determine the direction we take, with the joy of playing always coming first.

All professional teaching methods I use include online play-along audio. This allows you to practice flexibly and interactively at home with complete rhythm sections and accompaniments in styles such as Pop, Funk, Jazz, Latin, or Classical.

Mini-bass for young bassists (6-12 years). For young children, I use specially developed, playful, and effective methods such as Vamoosh (Thomas Gregory) or Bass is Best! (Caroline Emery). This way, from the very first lesson, we build a solid, healthy basic technique in a fun way.

Your choice of repertoire and concepts. For older students and adult bassists (from beginner to advanced), we dive into a wide range of genres. On the double bass, we explore classical etudes, jazz walking basslines, or pop/rock patterns, combined with essential rhythmic theory.

I am a multi-instrumentalist and composer who just finished a Master's degree in Jazz Saxophone at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I have experience playing in a variety of ensembles, ranging from classical orchestras to jazz big bands.
